These are small towels with a chain and they are used by golfers to clean their golf balls, by fishermen for their hands, tennis/badminton for the raquet handles and bowlers for shining the bowling balls. Each towel has an eyelet with a chain so it can be hung from a golf trolley etc.They are 50cm x 30cm so a handy size as they are smaller than a hand towel.
